OPERATION

PLAYING THE RADIO

1. Rotate

DYNAMO/BATT

if you have

installed AA batteries. To power the radio using

the Ni-Cd pack or the generator, rotate

2. Set

FM/AM/OFF

to the desired band.

3. Rotate

TUNING

to select the desired station.

4. Adjust

VOLUME

to a comfortable listening level.

5. To turn off the radio, set

FM/AM/OFF

USING THE DISPLAY LIGHT

Hold down

LIGHT

to illuminate the dial in low-light

conditions.

USING THE SIGNAL ALARM

Press

EMERGENCY ALARM

The radio sounds a loud,

repeating beep. Press

EMERGENCY ALARM

again
